At 3D Duplicate, we design many types of fixtures from simple holding devices including CMM holding fixtures to complex checking fixtures. fixture design is based on the products GD&T and per customer requirements. The process involves the following steps 1) within 2 days of order and receipt of data 3d-duplicate will provide a detailed concept to the customer, 2) after customer approval the detailed design will be completed and forwarded to the customer for approval. 3) 3D Duplicate can source the fixture build to local shops or the customer can complete the fixture build in house.
